Regional Office The Charlotte Regional Office’s
Material Assistance Program provides service in the form of
limited assistance for rent, utilities and food. A small
food pantry is maintained to serve those in emergencies.

Just1Call Provides information
referral services to seniors and adults with disabilities.
Services includes transportation and housing, leisure and
social activities, health care services and equipment, meals
and nutrition, legal services, respite for caretakers,
support groups and information on Medicaid, Medicare, social

Loaves and Fishes Founded and
operated by local religious congregations, Loaves and Fishes
provide groceries and support to people in crisis. Operates
16 food pantries across Mecklenburg County. Contact

Mecklenburg County. Department of Social
Services. Economic Services Division Benefits and

Family Assistance (cash assistance), the Food Stamp program,

Mobile Food Pantry The Mobile
Food Panty consists of refurbished beverage trucks serving
as self-contained food pantries that provide food assistance
to rural communities lacking substantial infrastructure. The
Food Bank works in partnership with local sponsors, such as
food pantries or churches, to bring the Mobile Food Pantry
to these areas. Volunteers help distribute the food to

Crisis Assistance

assistance to individuals and families in financial need.

Harvest Kitchen
Operated by the
Community Outreach Christian Ministries, the Harvest Kitchen

CMHP is a broad based, private,
