Counseling & Workshops

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Senior Centers answers hundreds of Information and Referral calls each week and gives guidance to the services available for seniors and their families in our community. 

Several of these are provided at the Senior Centers.

Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP)

Seniors and their families can get help with Medicare, supplemental insurance, long-term care, and drug discount card questions from trained Volunteer Counselors. This service is free and confidential.

Legal Services for the Elderly
Appointments are free and confidential.

Seniors can get free legal information on matters such as living wills, power of attorney, health care power of attorney, tenant/landlord disputes, as well as other government and legal issues you may have.
